What is DEVintersection & SQLintersection & SHAREPOINTintersection?
DEVintersection is an educational onsite conference for anyone who is attached to a .NET development programming project who is looking to use Visual Studio to develop apps for desktop, web and mobile platforms. We bring together some of the best speakers (and our personal friends) for a conference that is relaxed and educational, plus forward looking as you and your company start to figure out what to do with Windows 8 and Visual Studio for the next few years. Our attendees tend to be .NET software developers plus other members of their teams. SQLintersection is co-located with DEVintersection. The content will focus on best practices for SQL Server versions 2012, 2008R2 and 2008 and will apply to almost anyone that works with SQL Server. We'll have a performance tuning track, a high availability and disaster recovery track, and a troubleshooting track. SHAREPOINTintersection is a conference for SharePoint IT admins, SharePoint developers and SharePoint power users who install, develop, deploy or significantly use SharePoint at any size company. We'll cover key SharePoint topics like governance, enterprise search, SharePoint 2013's app model, business analytics, no-code solutions and much more. SharePoint is useful in so many places and SHAREPOINTintersection will show you how to make the best use of it. Attendees of DEVintersection, SQLIntersectcion and SHAREPOINTintersection are free to cross over to attend sessions at the co-located events.

What kind of tablet do we get for attending?
If you register for the conference and choose the Show package or the Complete package, you can choose to receive a Surface with Windows RT tablet, an Xbox (whatever the current release is - we read that a new Xbox may be out by the end of the year) or $300 gift card. (Some have asked for this option to apply the amount to purchasing a Surface Pro computer or another type of tablet.)

DEVintersection is for anyone involved or interested in using the Microsoft application development platform. People in technical roles e.g., architects, designers, technical managers and of course developers who write .NET applications that run on a Windows-based OS on the desktop, server, in the cloud (Windows Azure) or on Windows Phone. SQLintersection is for any developer, DBA or IT Professional who spends their workday using Microsoft SQL Server. SHAREPOINTintersection is a conference for SharePoint IT admins, SharePoint developers and SharePoint power users who install, develop, deploy or significantly use SharePoint at any size company.
What's the Venue?
MGM GRAND 3799 Las Vegas Blvd S. Las Vegas, NV 89109 Tel (702) 891-7777 The MGM Grand is at the south end of the Las Vegas Strip. We've secured a block of rooms for only $109 a night (Sunday 10/27 -Thursday 10/31) plus a resort fee and taxes at this awesome hotel. The resort fee includes: local and toll free calls, Internet access, Business Center services which include outgoing faxes, copies, boarding pass printing, and notary services, Cardio Center access located on the 4th floor, daily newspaper (USA Today) provided at the Front Page Newsstand or bell desk. Reservations should be cancelled at least 72 hours prior to arrival. Check in time is 3 pm. Check out time is 11 am. Room rate for Saturday 10/26 is $149 a night plus resort fee and taxes.
What meals are included with registration?
For all paid DEVintersection and SQLintersection and SHAREPOINTintersection attendees, morning coffee and lunch are provided on all days that you attend sessions or workshops at the conference.
When is DEVintersection & SQLintersection & SHAREPOINTintersection?
DEVintersection and SQLintersection and SHAREPOINTintersection pre-conference workshops begin on Sunday Oct 27 with a keynote and possible evening events. The main show is October 28-30. Attending a workshop is an additional fee and is not included in your conference registration price.

What is the registration fee?
$1695. See the registration page for a list of discounted prices that you can receive by registering early.
Will I receive confirmation of my registration?
Yes, if you include your email address during the registration process, you will receive an email acknowledgement of your registration.
Is there a group discount available?
You'll need to give us a call to get everyone registered from one company at the same time and receive a group discount.
Group discount pricing of $100 off the registration fee starts with the 4th person registered, so the 4th (5th, 6th...) each get $100 off.
What types of payments are accepted for the conference fee?
Checks (payable to the show you register for: DEVintersection, SQLintersection or SHAREPOINTintersection), Visa, MasterCard and AMEX
What's covered in the registration fee?
Includes all sessions & keynotes, daily breakfast and lunch, t-shirt, bag, access to the exhibit hall and opportunities to win a few prizes. But we don't cover your losses at the casino!
Is there an additional charge for conference workshops?
Yes. Please check the website for the price associated with the workshop you want to attend. A hands-on workshop costs more because hotels charge us a CRAZY rate for running power to the room plus providing the power strips.
What meals are included with registration?
Breakfast and lunch will be included each day. If you are attending a workshop, lunch is included.
Will I be able to request meals based on special dietary needs?

Can I bring my spouse or companion to the conference?
Due to the business-focused atmosphere of the conference, we respectfully request that, as a conference attendee, you do not bring your spouse or any companion to the conference sessions. If there are evening events scheduled, we will try to have a spouse pass available on site at our hard costs for food and beverage.
Are rooms at the MGM Grand included with registration?
Rooms are NOT included with registration. Space is limited so reserve your room early by calling the conference hotline at 203-264-8220 to get our conference rate.
How do I make changes to my registration?
Call us at 203-264-8220 or send us an email at info@devintersection.com. Include the name of the person registered, the name of the company they were registered under and the e-mail address associated with the registration.
What if I need to cancel my registration?
Cancellations before September 27, 2013 must be received in writing and will be refunded minus a $100 processing fee. After September 27, 2013 cancellations and no shows are liable for full registration. If you need to, you can transfer your registration to the next DEVintersection or SQLintersection or SHAREPOINTintersection conference. You may transfer your registration to a colleague by notifying us before the start of the event.
Are session handouts or notes available?
If the speakers give us slides and/or sample code, we will make it available online as soon after the conference as we get it.
I am attending a pre-conference workshop. Will I receive a separate pass to attend?
When you pick up your registration materials you will receive your badge and a ticket that allows you to attend the conference workshop and lunch if you were already registered for the workshop. You can register to attend a workshop based on availability the day of the conference.
What is the dress code?
Conference dress is comfortable and casual. The session rooms are air conditioned so you may want to bring a light jacket.
